As the school year draws to a close there is a mixture of celebrations of learning and growth, endings and beginnings.  We can look back and feel a sense of achievement in our growth through the successes and challenges that have arisen. We celebrate the learnings that have occurred in the classroom, on the sports field, within the visual and performing arts, through outdoor education experiences, at home and through the daily interactions we have had with peers, teachers, parents and the broader community. We celebrate our growth as people, in our relationships and our understanding of our place in the world and our relationship to God. We celebrate those times when we have made a difference in the lives of others by volunteering, listening, smiling, being or giving.

God has blessed us richly this year as individuals and as a community. We have much to celebrate. We are deeply thankful to our staff, students, and parents for all they have given and been for this community. As the year draws to a close, our prayer is that you will feel a strong sense of accomplishment, connection and belonging. Through the P-5 Carol’s Service, our eyes are drawn to Christmas and the promise of hope, joy and peace that the birth of Christ brings into the world. As we pause and reflect on the year that has been, may we be grateful for God’s blessings to us. May we be hope-filled through the joy and peace that comes through trusting in His unconditional love and grace.
