Congratulations to our Year 12 team of Ethan Hall, Olivia Papallo, Sarah Gale, Karlee Connors and individual entrant Noah Beasley of Year 9, who have been selected to participate in the National Finals of the Future Problem Solving Competition in Melbourne next term.  The topic of the qualifying booklet was Philanthrocapitalism. This is an amazing achievement for all students. The Year 12 team was one of three senior teams from Queensland and Noah was the only individual in the middle years section from Queensland to be selected.

According to the FPS website – FPS is now an international educational program for students of all ages, focusing on the development of critical, creative and futuristic thinking skills. The program challenges students to apply their minds to some of the significant issues facing the world of today and the future, equipping them with the vision, skills and tools to design and promote positive futures for the society in which they live

This is an outstanding achievement and we thank Head of Learning Enrichment Mrs. Jo Belchamber and her team for their passionate and excellent leadership. We wish all students the best as they prepare for the final.
