ACU University Experience

University Experience provides the perfect opportunity for students to explore their study options by living a day in the life of an ACU student. Tertiary Studies Expo – Brisbane

The Tertiary Studies Expo (TSXPO) is Australia's largest tertiary studies expo. TSXPO offers a unique opportunity for anyone interested in studying at Uni or TAFE. Exhibitors include local, interstate and overseas universities and other education providers. TSXPO 2019 will be held in Brisbane on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st July. Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo

The annual Sunshine Coast Daily Careers Expo is the Coast's most comprehensive careers, employment and training expo. This event showcases the latest information on tertiary studies, further training and employment opportunities. This year’s Expo will be held on Tuesday 23rd July at Venue 114 in Bokarina. UQ Young Scholars Program

Designed to nurture and develop our future leaders, the Young Scholars Program presents Year 11 students with an exciting opportunity for academic extension and enrichment.

When: Sunday 1st December – Thursday 5th December (five-day residential program)
Where: UQ’s St Lucia Campus
Cost: $615 (includes all activities, meals and accommodation)

Queensland School of Film and Television Holiday Workshops

QSFT holds a number of school holiday workshops for students interested in film. The following workshops will be run in the July school holidays:

  • Friday 5th July, 9.30am – 3.30pm: Junior Filmmaker Bootcamp for Years 7-8 students
  • Saturday 6th July, 9.00am – 1.00pm: Write It! Introduction to script writing workshop
  • 10th – 11th July, 9.00am – 4.00pm: Filmmaker bootcamp for Years 9-12 students

QUT Winter Holiday Program @ The Cube

QUT’s The Cube will host an exciting line up of art and science family fun over the winter school holidays from 6th – 12th July. The program invites curious minds to explore everything from robotics, to future cities, to bionic arms. Visit www.thecube.qut.edu.au for further details.

UQ Robotics Workshops

ACU Community Achiever Program 2020

Applications for ACU’s Community Achiever Program (CAP) in 2020 are now open. The CAP considers the community contribution students have made through regular volunteer work and involvement in social justice organisations, sporting, performance, cultural or religious groups. The CAP can provide students with early entry into an ACU undergraduate degree and thresholds for entry to most ACU courses are also eased for successful CAP candidates. UQ Student Accommodation

Students from regional areas (including the Sunshine Coast) who will be studying at UQ’s St Lucia or Herston campuses in 2020 will receive guaranteed accommodation through UQ’s Accommodation Services.
