Eisteddfod Success

Our Pacific musicians performed very well at the recent Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod, which was held over the past 2 weeks, finishing on Sunday 4th August. Here are the results of the individuals or groups who achieved a group or personal best or were placed at the Sunshine Coast Junior Eisteddfod –

• Senior Strings – 2nd Place – Senior String Ensembles A Category

• Senior Concert Band - 1st Place – Senior Concert Bands B Category

• Shauntel Pollocks 1st place – Woodwind Solo U14s

• Jessica Cronin 2nd Place – Woodwind Solo – U14s

The outstanding performances from all our competing students have sparked considerable excitement in Sunshine Coast music circles regarding the growth and strength of the Pacific music program. Congratulations to our musicians and our talented music team, led by Mr Paul Cusick, Mrs Helen Williams, and Ms Krist-Elle Hill.
