Da Vinci Decathlon Next week, 40 students across Years 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 will compete at the Queensland Da Vinci Decathlon at AB Paterson College on the Gold Coast. The tournament is a ‘Decathlon with a Difference’, providing challenging tasks with an emphasis on higher order thinking and collaboration. Students from schools around the state will compete in 10 academic tasks including Engineering, Mathematics, Code Breaking, Games of Strategy, Art and Poetry, Science, English and Creative Producers. Our students have been preparing for the event during weekly lunchtime training and are now ready to meet the challenge.
