Last week over a series of three different days, small groups of students across Years 5 to 10 competed in the da Vinci Decathlon online tournament.

The da Vinci Decathlon is an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students. Students compete in teams of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics, codebreaking, art and poetry, Science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography, and legacy.

It is a chance for high-ability learners to participate in a fun and engaging challenge that focuses on team building, creativity, and exploring new ideas. This year for the first time, the competition was conducted online against other schools including some very large Brisbane schools and others from across the state.

On Monday the results for the tournament were finalised and placegetters announced.
