OCEANfest THANK YOU

Our hearts are full and we are extremely grateful for the tireless work of our wonderful Friends of Pacific volunteers who contributed their time, effort and talents to create an amazing OCEANfest last Friday evening.

From our incredible stall leaders to each parent who helped out at the stalls and attended OCEANfest, we extend our heartfelt gratitude – YOU all helped to bring our community together and we couldn’t be prouder.

Father’s Day Stall

The FoP Father’s Day Stall is next Tuesday 29th August, and we are calling for volunteers to help out. Volunteers will assist in setting up the stall and supporting students to make their Father’s Day gift selections. This is an excellent opportunity for fellowship between families and a rewarding way to support our PLC community. If you have completed your PLC Volunteer Induction and are available to assist, we ask that you register your interest via email to fop@pacluth.qld.edu.au as soon as possible.

All gifts will be $5. Students should bring their money to school next Tuesday 29th September to shop at the Father’s Day Stall.

Gala Day BBQ – Volunteers Required

PLC will be hosting a Gala Day on Thursday 7th September at the Meridan Fields and we will need volunteers to help run the FoP BBQ. More info to be sent out soon, but if you are available on this day and have completed the PLC Volunteer Induction, we’d love to have you! Pop this date in your diary now.

Pacific Together

Pacific Together is a care-based service offered by Friends of Pacific to College families in times of need. If you, or someone you know within our College community, needs extra support during the year, the Pacific Together care group may be able to help in some small way or offer a care package. Please contact PLC Chaplain Mr Mark Hauser - mhauser@pacluth.qld.edu.au

We were never meant to do life alone. We need the love and care of others, especially in times of need. If you would like to support the continuation of this care-based service through a financial contribution, we invite you to contact Pacific Together via email: fop@pacluth.qld.edu.au

Your contributions ensure that we can provide a care package for those in our community when the need arises.
