Woolworths Earn and Learn Update

We are pleased to advise that Pacific will be receiving a complete ‘Jolly Phonics Classroom Kit and book/s’ as a result of the Woolworths Earn and Learn program. These valuable resources will be housed in the library and primarily loaned out to the Foundation College. The resources will be integrated into learning next year.

Pacific appreciates the support of our community to the Earn and Learn program, which allows for these extra resources.

Before and After School Traffic and Student Safety

Due to safety concerns for our students crossing Woodlands Boulevard and a rise in traffic to the area, the Department of Transport and Main Roads has advised Pacific will receive state funding for a School Crossing Supervisor.

A number of factors are taken into account when assessing sites for supervised crossings and we are grateful that Pacific has been identified as a school who would benefit from this scheme.

Christmas Carols

Friends of Pacific will support the Foundation and Junior College Christmas Carols on Friday 27^th November, with a sausage sizzle and drinks stall. This year, there will also be ‘Lucky Dip Christmas Bags’ for sale, which will contain Christmas trinkets and treats.

Last Meeting for 2015

Please come and join us for the Friends of Pacific AGM and final general meeting for this year on Tuesday 17^th November at 7.00pm. It’s an opportune time to hear a summary of 2015 and gain insight into what lies ahead for 2016. We celebrate the achievements of 2015 and thank the current Executive Committee for their commitment throughout the year.
