Congratulations Ian Barnes!

Congratulations to Pacific Soccer’s retiring Vice-President, Mr Ian Barnes, who won the highly prestigious Chaplain’s Award at the Sunshine Coast Churches Soccer Association’s annual awards night on Saturday. The award is presented to a volunteer, administrator, player, or group for providing an outstanding service to the community. Ian has been involved with Pacific Soccer and the College for more than 10 years and has made significant contributions to our community.

As well as contributing significant time and enhancing the leadership of Pacific Soccer, Ian has also been instrumental in leading many of the Friends of Pacific initiatives including managing the logistics of OCEANfest. We thank Ian for his humble and generous service to this community, which has not only benefitted our current students but also leaves a strong legacy for the future.
