Year 12 students were involved in a range of activities and events in their final week at Pacific. Last Tuesday through to Thursday, students heard from a number of guest presenters and completed various activities including:

  • Year 12 Graduation Tile Project led by Mrs Denise McMahon and Mrs Rowena Marshall.
  • Commonwealth Bank Smart Start presentation by Mr Troy Walsh.
  • RACQ Free2Go presentation.
  • Life Awareness Workshop with Queensland Police led by Senior Constable Darryl Campbell, Sunshine Coast District Traffic Branch.
  • Red Frogs Chaplaincy Network presentation regarding safety at post-school events and connections to Beyond Blue.
  • Dance practice with Dayl and Sharon from Dance Obsession.
  • PCG farewells.
  • Connections with Year 2 facilitated with Mrs Leonie Prout, Mrs Lara Stiller and Mrs Karen Costa.
  • Labyrinth walk led by Pastor Tim Jarick.
  • QTAC information session led by Mrs Natasha Purcell.
  • Year 12 students verse staff touch football game (the students won!).

Thank you to all staff, parents and students for their assistance with the smooth running of events for the Year 12 student’s final week. In particular, a warm and heartfelt thank you to Mrs Leanne Bevis, Miss Angela Hill, Mrs Emma Lendrum, Mrs Aleisha Tuaine, Miss Carolyn Sainty, Mrs Steph Scarlett, Miss Anita Morton, Mrs Denise McMahon, Dr Peter McMahon, Ms Leigh Finter, Mr Mark Hauser, Ms Sue Arahill, Mrs Marg Gunn, Mrs Leah Croke, Mr Jeff Goodwin, Mrs Michiko Hauser, Mr Brendan Delaney, Mrs Tina Cox, Mrs Rowena Marshall, Mrs Ann Barwick, Pastor Tim Jarick, Mrs Rhana Holt, Mr Mick Vidulich, Grounds Staff, 2018 College Captain Leadership team and Year 11 Hospitality students.
