Another strong round for our basketball teams. Congratulations in particular to the 12A Girls who won their Grand Final, defeating a competitive Grammar team in a very tight match. Well done!

SCISSA Rugby

There were some great results for our Rugby 7’s players in Round 2. The 14 Girls performed valiantly, even with being short on numbers due to missing Year 9s, and the 13 Boys went the whole round without a loss. Well done!

Pacific FC: Another reminder that the Pacific FC AGM is being held on the 4th November at 6.30pm at PLC in L13/14. As this meeting is the opportunity for new people to step into key positions in the club, all involved parents are encouraged to attend. Pacific FC can’t run without a strong volunteer base so we look forward to having some new faces come and be part of the team to ensure that this fantastic community club continues to grow and develop.

Student Acknowledgement

Congratulations to Lachlan Woodward and Zara Richters for their recent successes at the All QLD Schools Athletics Championships. Lachlan won a gold in the 400m in his division, and Zara won a silver in her division. An awesome achievement for both students!
