Commedia Dell‘Arte Workshop

Last week, Year 10 Drama students engaged in a full day workshop on the 400 year old comedic and satirical art form, Commedia Dell‘Arte, with theatre industry professional, Clint from Humonculos Theatre. Clint has toured both nationally and internationally with his clowning, comedy and Commedia performances and his unique talents have recently seen him chosen as a clown for Cirque Du Soleil when they tour Australia. Clint inspired students with his knowledge of the masked theatrical style of Commedia, the stock characters and the improvised scenarios and they also delighted in his humour and supportive coaching throughout this very worthwhile experience.
