Club Sport

Pacific Lutheran College has several sports development programs outside of school hours. These programs encourage participation, allowing students to be part of a team, and learn basic skills of the game.

The parent-led Pacific FC Soccer and PLC Netball Clubs compete on Saturdays in community competitions throughout the Sunshine Coast.

Results from the last round of games saw the Patriots Div 4 (32 - 28) and Avengers U12-1 (20 - 11) take away wins while the Mavericks had a bye. Our remaining teams, Fireballs (Div 1), Fury (Div 2) and Rebels (U12-2) had tough on-court contests, ending their games without a win but maintained their focus and effort through to the final whistle. Well done to all teams.

The new PLC dresses for players and polo shirts for umpires, coaches and committee members have finally arrived.  Our uniform now includes our new Sponsor logos – a big thank you to our club sponsors for their fabulous support. Distribution of dresses and shirts will commence this weekend – further information will be provided to each team later this week.

Another reminder to ensure your daughter wears the correct uniform as CDNA have a strict uniform policy that may result in a player not being able to take the court.  Dresses must be long enough to cover the bike pants when walking – or bike pants of a suitable length not to show beneath the dress. Bike pants must be a dark colour (blue or black). Please ensure all players conform to these Association requirements.

If someone is unable to attend training or the game, it is important to contact your Team coach or Manager (in the first instance) or the President email as a last resort.  Please ensure your team manager and coach have your correct contact details (email and mobile phone number).
