Every day we have a choice about whether we focus on the good things we have in life or the worries about the past or the future. Our opportunity to experience joy is often crowded by our mind’s anxious chatter. Each day we have a choice to focus on the positive aspects of our lives, to celebrate them and to live each moment fully while we can. As we approach the school holidays, it is an ideal time to take advantage of the change in routine to make a choice about how we use our mental energy.
God encourages us not to worry and to trust that He will cater for our daily needs. Over this holiday period may we all choose joy, look for what is good in our daily life and revel in it.
