Chess Mates

Pacific Lutheran College will be offering weekly chess classes on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.00pm-3.45pm.

These classes are designed to help improve creativity, planning skills, general aptitude for learning, memory, independent decision making, teamwork, concentration and problem-solving.

Learning chess has been shown to improve overall performance at school by nearly 20% compared with children who have not.

Classes are offered to students in Prep-Year 6.
