Centring Rest
Centring Rest
As the term draws to a close we are looking forward to a change of routine and the opportunity for rest and refreshment. Easter provides the opportunity for us to stop, reflect and re-centre as we connect with friends and family and engage in enjoyable leisure pursuits. Rest is an important part of the rhythm of our lives.
Over the Easter period we are reminded of Jesus’ invitation, “Come to me all who are weary and I will give you rest”. True rest comes from deep within. This Easter we are invited to take the time to reconnect with a loving God. We are encouraged to take the time to be still in His presence and hear His Word for us. God’s grace comes to us just as we are but doesn’t leave us that way. It is the source of deep centring rest.
