Celebrating National Science Week – 15th – 19th August

The Library has hosted many exciting, hands-on Science activities during lunchtime over the past week as the College embraced the Celebration of National Science Week. Junior students have enjoyed creating glass-themed science objects to take home, including magnifying glasses, kaleidoscope, galaxy in a jar, snow globe and more!  The escape room has been the biggest hit with students across the College working in teams to solve a series of problem-solving activities with the aim to crack a code and unlock a box full of prizes. The pressure of the race to crack the code created so much excitement for all involved. Thank you to Mrs Richards, Acting Head of Science, Science Teachers and Laboratory Assistants for preparing such engaging and fun activities.
