Celebrating Grandparents

We look forward to celebrating and welcoming grandparents as important people in our lives and community this week.  Through their stories, love and active engagement in family life they make a significant difference to the lives and sense of wellbeing of young people.  Through the time they spend being present with children, wisdom, stories and values are shared and passed on to the next generation.  Grandparents are the link between the stories of past generations and what will be.  

God has given us a great treasure in our grandparents.
