Generation Innovation Challenge (Years 9-12)

The GI Challenge is seeking a talented group of budding young entrepreneurs to join the 2022 Generation Innovation Challenge. The GI Challenge is a FREE 12-week program for Sunshine Coast locals aged 15 to 25 to unleash their innovation and launch their dream business, and in the process, stand a chance to win a $10,000 prize package!

Whether you’re wanting to leverage new technology, put your own stamp on a familiar product or service, or tackle a social or environmental challenge, enterprises of all kinds are welcome at the GI Challenge.

CQ University Parents and Year 12s Webinar (Year 12)

CQ University’s Parents and Year 12s Webinar is available for all Year 12 students and their parents on Tuesday 14th June from 4.00pm – 5.00pm AEST.

The webinar will walk parents, students, and teachers through the post Year 12 transition, including information on:

  • Opportunities after high school
  • Making career choices
  • Where to find course information, including entry requirements
  • How to apply
  • Alternate pathways
  • Course fees
  • Scholarships
  • What comes after applying

PLC Tertiary Applications information evening for Year 12 students and parents (Year 12)

There will be a Tertiary Applications information evening for Year 12 students and parents on Tuesday 26th July. The evening, hosted by Mrs Wanda Hayes will provide information on:

  • How the Tertiary Applications process works in Queensland and in other States
  • Early offer schemes at Queensland universities and how to apply for them
  • Applying for university scholarships
  • The special consideration process and how to apply
  • How to manage the university application and offer process

Tertiary applications for current Year 12 students do not open until early August.
