Big Day In

Last Thursday, Year 11 and 12 IT students took part in the Big Day In at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Speakers from a variety of technology industries inspired students, providing a great deal of information. They advised students to learn a variety of coding languages and play with programming not only at school but in their own time to develop their skills and passion.

There were also a number of interesting stalls where a variety of IT gadgets such as NAO the robot and Microsoft’s HoloLens were available to try out.

All students had positive experiences and greatly enjoyed the day. Ethan Dodds was lucky enough to win an Adobe Cloud package worth $1000 and Ben Summers won a Minecraft t-shirt.
