New Majors and Minors – Bachelor of Commerce
ACU’s Bachelor of Commerce provides grounding in all areas of business as well as detailed knowledge and skills in a particular career choice. The flexibility of this course is expanding with the introduction of the following new majors and minors.

  • Events Management Major: ACU’s offering in this increasingly essential area will cover creation and delivery of events including branding, writing briefs, production and technical, media, creativity, sponsorship, marketing and promotions and more.
  • Data Analytics Minor: Big data and the analysis of data are key trends in management decision making, especially in industries such as finance, health care, consumer/marketing and IT. Data Analytics is a great fit with existing business offerings, enhancing value for potential employers.
  • Entrepreneurship Minor: Aligned with the Government’s ‘innovation agenda’, this original minor helps build vital skills for success in Australia’s small business sector. It includes entrepreneurial mindset, managing entrepreneurship and innovation, social entrepreneurship and new venture finance.
  • Indigenous Business Studies: This minor consists of four online cultural and indigenous business units available to all students with face-to-face intensive schools for indigenous students.
