3-6 Athletics Carnival

The athletics season is upon us for another year with students beginning to prepare for the Inter-house Athletics Carnival in their Physical Education lessons. The Years 3-6 Athletics Carnival will be held on Wednesday 6^th June (Week 8) at the University of the Sunshine Coast. Students will travel by bus to and from the carnival which runs from 9.00am to 2.00pm. 

Prior to the carnival student will participate in 100 and 200m sprint trials as well as their discus event.

The 100 and 200m sprint trials will be held on Thursday 17^th May, Week 5 from 1.40pm–3.00pm. During this time students will compete against fellow house members from their age group to determine A, B and C division rankings for the carnival. Students will need to wear their house shirt on this day.

The 3-6 Discus event will be held prior to the Athletics Carnival on Thursday 24^th May. Students will participate from 1.40pm–3.00pm and will also need to wear their house shirt on this day.  More detailed information regarding the Athletics Carnival has been sent home to all parents via CareMonkey.
