Year 11 Leadership Day

This week, Year 11 students worked with Juliette Warne (Lutheran Youth of Queensland, Leadership Trainer), the facilitators from the Lutheran Youth of Queensland and Pacific Lutheran College staff.

Students were given opportunities to: work together as a team, reflect on personal and team leadership, learn about ways of overcoming adversity, giving things a go, effective communication, role modelling, leadership qualities, emotional trust and validation.  The day also provided opportunities for the cohort to grow connections as they continue their senior journey into their final school year.  Students engaged in reflective conversation and participated in physical activities, as they learnt and thought about their own capacity to lead and work with others in their own unique way.  Thank you to LYQ, staff and students for their positive engagement and input on this day.
