Well done to all of our teams on their start to the season. The teams are developing and our community grows as a result. Grading will be completed this weekend.

As part of our Junior Leaders Program, our senior teams have been allocated a permanent team captain. Congratulations to the following players who have been elected for 2018:

  • PLC Thoroughbreds – Tayla Gorham;
  • PLC Arabians – Amie Hague; and
  • PLC Fillies –Ainslie Colton and Gabriel Rattey.

Congratulations to Ella Ousley who last week was re-graded to a ‘Junior A’ umpire. This allows Ella to umpire any of the PLC games without supervision. We also wish Tayla Gorham the best of luck as she embarks on her assessment as a ‘National C’ umpire. When completed, this qualification will allow Tayla to umpire any women’s junior games played within the Caloundra Association and to undertake competency assessments of our Junior Umpires.

Every week an encouragement award is presented to a player in each of our teams. Well done to our players of the week for 14th March:

  • PLC Thoroughbreds – Gabby Gorham;
  • PLC Arabians – Roze Stockwell
  • PLC Fillies – Sofia Aronsson;
  • PLC Ponies – Ella Kidd;
  • PLC Palominos – Taylor Mikolic; and
  • PLC Mustangs – Maddison Clues.
