Samsung Queensland Primary Schools Netball Competition

Congratulations to our Year 6 team who represented the College at the Samsung Queensland Primary Schools Netball Competition, held in Maroochydore on the first weekend of the school holidays.

During Term 3, the girls trained with Ms Leigh Finter and Mrs Amanda Empson each Thursday morning before school. Their dedication and grit paid off at the competition with the team winning every game in their division.

Without the assistance of our student umpires, Emily McKenzie, Emma Frohmuller and Tayla Gorham, the team would not have been able to take the court. We truly appreciate their time given to support the team and the College during the carnival. Thank you to our parent supporters, who scored games and cheered the team from the sideline. Thank you also to coaches Ms Finter and Mrs Empson who supervised the team over the two days of competition.
