Year 2 Literature Morning Tea

This week, the library hosted a magnificent celebration for our Year 2 students to mark Enid Blyton’s 120th anniversary. As one of the world’s most famous authors and one whose books remain just as popular today as when they were first published, many of the children were already familiar with her stories. The library was decked out with some wonderful displays and staff got into the spirit of the event by dressing up as their favourite characters.

Students participated in a range of activities that reflected different aspects of Enid Blyton’s writing. Our morning culminated in a spectacular and delicious morning tea supplied by Mrs Colleen Beattie and our Hospitality Department. Thank you everyone who helped to make this event successful!
