PLC Netball Club

The 2017 season has now ended and it is now time to relax and re-charge the batteries. The committee has commenced detailed planning for next season already and will outline some of those initiatives in the coming weeks.

Well done once again to everybody for making this season a success. The club has come a long way in a short time, which demonstrates what is possible if we all share the load and get involved. The netball community that we have developed reflects positively on all involved and should provide you with a great sense of satisfaction and pride.

From the feedback I have received, everybody enjoyed the presentation night on Sunday at Laserzone. It was a great way to end the season with plenty of pizza, sweets, fizzy drink and fun! Awards were also presented to players in our competitive teams for Spirit and Most Valuable Player.

The Spirit Award is presented to the player who approached the season in a positive manner and conducted themselves in the true ‘spirit of sportsmanship’ and the Most Valuable Player is awarded to the team’s ‘fairest and best’.
