PLC Netball Club

With the regular season now finished, our focus now turns to the finals, which commence on 26^th August.

Well done to our Unicorns and Mustangs on a great season. It has been a pleasure to see these girls develop over the year and we look forward to seeing them all at Laserzone on 10^th September for the club breakup.

For our other four teams, it’s business as usual as all have qualified for the finals. We will publish the game times next week, so if you’re able to support the girls in their quests for glory, please feel free to come along.

A reminder of the upcoming events as follows:

• 8^th September at 3.15pm – Club photos in your netball dress at the Pacific gym.
• 10^th September from 5.00pm to 7.00pm – Presentation night at Laserzone.

As the year progresses it becomes more difficult to select our players of the week. The recipients for their efforts on 12^th August are:

• Unicorns – Mia Wilkie for outstanding effort at Centre;
• Mustangs – Sarah Barrett for her great effort;                                      
• Ponies – Mia Salta and Ella Kid for great court work;
• Fillies – Amie Hague for great shooting; and
• Arabians – Sophie Heidrich, Layla Kidd and Atlanta Hopewell for their great team effort.
