PLC Netball Club

This week, we congratulate Kahlia Taylor from the Mustangs who was chosen as a finalist in the Stockland Spirit Awards, which were drawn on Monday. The opportunity to recognise individual performances on a weekly basis via their encouragement awards is an important component in developing our club and fostering a sense of achievement within the player group. We thank Stockland for their ongoing support throughout the year.

The race towards the finals continues for our Arabians and Fillies, with both teams playing important games this week. We wish both teams the best of luck for Saturday.

As the year progresses, it becomes more difficult to select our players of the week. The recipients for their efforts on 29^th July are:

• Unicorns – Grace Meekan for excellent defence;
• Mustangs – Gracie Jones for her good play;
• Brumbies – Rani Munro for exceptional defence and amazing intercepts; and
• Arabians – Chelsea Kidd for her determined effort.

A reminder of important upcoming events as follows:

• 13^th August – Pacific is not participating in the CDNA club carnival, so you will have this Sunday to yourselves.
• 8^th September at 3.15pm – Club photos in your netball dress at the Pacific gym.
• 10^th September from 5.00pm – 7.00pm – Presentation Night at Laserzone.
