Saturday 6th May was a relaxing week with no BBQ, no umpire training and no organising, giving us all plenty of time to relax and watch the girls do us proud. It wasn’t our best week in terms of the final scores, but the effort, determination and most importantly the spirit shown by all the girls is a credit to them all. We are almost a third of the way through the season and the improvement in skills, teamwork and the general atmosphere and positive energy around the club is amazing.

This coming week, umpire training is back at 7.00am at CDNA and we have all six teams competing. We encourage you all to come down a little earlier or stay back after your game and support the other teams if you can. There is always a sausage or a burger to refuel after the game and the bonus is this week, somebody else will cook it for you!

Once again it was difficult to select our players of the week, however this week the recipients for their efforts on 6th May are:

  • Unicorns – Mia Wilkie for a determined effort;
  • Mustangs – Kahlia Taylor for a great job;
  • Ponies – Ella Kidd for a 100% effort;
  • Brumbies – Kelsey Punter for her consistent breaking around the circle;
  • Fillies – Katie Graves for her shooting; and
  • Arabians – A bye.
