Griffith University – Careers in Sport

The Schoolgirls’ Breakfast Careers Experience Day provides insights into the adult elite athlete environment and how to coordinate major sporting events like the Commonwealth Games. This Experience Day will be held at the Gold Coast Campus on Wednesday 23rd May from 7.00am – 12.30pm. Registrations are due by 17th May. JMC Academy Introductory Workshops

JMC will offer the following introductory workshops from 4.00pm – 7.00pm on Thursday 1st June at its Brisbane campus.

  • Pro Tools Workshop – This workshop will introduce students to a Digital Audio Workstation environment and will assist them in developing their editing and mastering skills with music and sound.
  • Ableton Live Workshop - In this practical workshop, students will be introduced to sound recording and engineering.
  • Animation and Game Development Workshop – This workshop aims to introduce students to various applications within the Animation and Gaming industries.

Study for a Day at SAE Qantm

This event will give students an opportunity to experiment with creative media fields (Animation, Audio, Graphic Design, Film, or Games) before making decisions about their future study plans. It will introduce them to the technical skills required in the field and provide an insight into the careers available. It will be held from 9.00am – 4.00pm on Saturday 24th June at the SAE Brisbane campus in West End.
