PLC Netball Club

It was wonderful to see the Club’s commitment and dedication in hosting the Caloundra District Netball Association (CDNA) last Saturday! The weather was wonderful, which assisted in creating a great carnival atmosphere that was enjoyed by all. The feedback from CDNA has been extremely positive, which is a reflection of the efforts of all those involved.

Thank you to everyone who assisted on the day. A special thank you to our senior team, the Arabians, who took their turn on the roster manning the two canteens. Secondly, thank you to our younger players from the Fillies, Brumbies and Ponies who also took their turn on the canteen when the opportunity arose to ‘fill-in’ and assist. The effort and leadership shown by these girls has set a positive example to our community.

The club set three goals for the day: share the work load, impress the association and enjoy the moment. We clearly achieved all three goals, so well done to all!

Once again it was difficult to select our players of the week, however the recipients for their efforts on 29^th April are:

• Unicorns – Zaice McLauchlan for an awesome effort;
• Mustangs – Hanna Meekan for a great effort;
• Brumbies – Elizabeth MacLean for her consistent breaking and persistence;
• Fillies – Jessica Ubrihien for a 100% effort; and
• Arabians – The whole team for their efforts on the day.
