QUT STEM Camp

Applications for the 2017 Vice-Chancellor's STEM Camp will close on Tuesday 2nd May. The fully funded camp is open to high achieving Year 11 students and provides an exclusive opportunity for students to spend a week working alongside QUT researchers and undergraduate students on real-world STEM research. UQ – ‘Getting Ready For University'

UQ will hold information sessions for parents/guardians and students from Years 10-12. These interactive group sessions are designed to provide the necessary information to assist your child in making an informed choice about their future.

Topics include:

  • Understanding university language;
  • Key differences between high school and university;
  • Pathways into your dream program;
  • Scholarships; and
  • QTAC, fees, accommodation.

Dates and times:

  • Tuesday 16th May from 10.30am – 12.00pm
  • Tuesday 16th May from 6.30pm – 8.00pm
  • Wednesday 17th May from 6.30pm – 8.00pm
  • Thursday 18th May from 1.00pm – 2.30pm

The Australian Youth Aerospace Forum (AYAF)

AYAF is an annual five-day conference for students in Years 11 and 12 who are interested in investigating careers and pathways in the aerospace industry (e.g. Aerospace engineering, Aerospace trades, Military aerospace and Pilot Training). In 2017 the AYAF will be run from 3rd – 7th July (during the school holidays) in Brisbane. Applications are now open and close on Friday 26th May. Learn more at: http://www.ayaa.com.au/AYAF-Bris.

Bond University 2018 Scholarships

Bond University offers a large number of full fee and part fee scholarships as well as cash bursaries. Most scholarships can be used for any single or combined program (with the exception of the Medical Program). Scholarship applications for Year 12 students must be lodged online using the Bond University application form. Applications close on 31st July.
