Student Success - Skateboarding

Well done to Haylie Powell who over the weekend travelled to Sydney to compete in the Vans Park Skateboard Series, which was part of the Australian Open of Surfing event. Haylie competed in the opens women’s division even through she is only in Year 6. She skated extremely well and ranked 11^th in Australia.

Haylie has also recently been selected for the Olympic Training Squad for the 2020 Olympics in Japan, which is a fantastic achievement at such a young age. We wish her all the best as she continues to compete and work towards representing Australia in skateboarding.
