Year 5 Camp

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Year 5 Outdoor Education Camp at Bornhoffen in the Numinbah Valley. The weather was perfect, the food was fantastic, the accommodation very comfortable and the facilities first rate. Students participated in a variety of activities designed to promote leadership, cooperation, teamwork and self-esteem. It was great to witness their enthusiasm. Students accepted all the challenges put before them, acted responsibly and enjoyed themselves.

We thank Year 5 teachers, Mrs Sarah Atkinson, Mr Scott Compton and Mrs Karen Costa, and Outdoor Education Aides Josh, Maddi and Eliza for their professionalism, care and support of our students while on camp.

Year 3 Camp

All Year 3 students will depart for their Outdoor Education Camp at Luther Heights in Coolum on Thursday 27^th October (Week 4). Year 3 parents are reminded that all consent and medical forms need to be returned to your child’s classroom teacher as soon as possible.
