Book Week

Congratulations to Bula 5 for winning the Book Week quiz this week. The Prep – Year 5 classes were involved in writing a progressive story, in line with this year’s Book Week theme ‘Australia: Story Country’. Students have also been examining the nominees for Book of the Year in their library classes. The winners were announced in Canberra this week and are as follows:

• Picture Book of the Year – Flight by Armin Greder and Nadia Wheatley
• Early Childhood Book of the Year – Mr Huff by Anna Walker
• Younger Readers Book of the Year – Soon by Morris Gleitzman
• Older Readers Book of the Year – Cloud Wish by Fiona Wood
