Renewal Through Easter

Rest and engagement with friends, family, nature and leisure activities provide important times for the renewal of our mind, body and spirit. We all look forward to the change of rhythm that holidays, weekends and small breaks provide as they present opportunities to have fun, rest, relax and reset.

Over the Easter period, we are reminded of God’s constant invitation to rest in Him and to be renewed through His love and grace for us.  Through his death and resurrection, Jesus took on the burden of our shortcomings, failures and sins.  God’s promise to us is that through faith in Him, we can leave our burdens at the foot of the cross, be forgiven and start renewed every day. Empowered and renewed by His love and grace we can live abundant lives filled with hope, joy and purpose.
