New PLC App!
Last Friday we announced the launch of our brand-new Pacific Lutheran College App. The PLC App has been designed to conveniently combine our parent services together in one space. The App combines Parent Lounge for administrative tasks which include activity consent, updating medical details and reports with the Navigator (NAV) features such as personalised assessment calendars, assessment feedback, news and notifications. We invite you to download the PLC App for iOS or Android by following the below links.
Details for how to download the App were emailed to families last week.
Security and privacy policies are available in the App Store or Google play at the time of download should you wish to review them in detail.
As well as combining the administration tasks through the parent lounge and reporting through NAV, the PLC App will also become the main communication channel to inform users of short-term changes to service provisions such as changes to the tuckshop menu and operations, updates to the return of buses from sports/excursions/outdoor education experiences and storm warnings. Updates to changes of routine will be sent and received faster than a text message or email, especially with the customisation of app notifications.
This is an exciting tool which combines all parent services together for fast and efficient receipt of College communication. We encourage all parents to download the PLC App.
