Chess Mates

At Pacific Lutheran College, weekly chess classes will be held on a Tuesday afternoon from 3.00pm-3.45pm.

Learning chess has been shown to improve overall performance at school by nearly 20% compared with children who have not.

These classes will help improve planning skills, problem-solving, memory, concentration, independent decision-making, teamwork and general aptitude for learning.
