Pacific Lutheran College has several sports development programs outside of school hours. These programs encourage participation, giving students the opportunity to be part of a team, and learn basic skills of the game.

The parent-led Pacific FC Soccer and PLC Netball Clubs compete on Saturdays in community competitions throughout the Sunshine Coast.

PLC Netball Club

PLC Netball had two teams in the Preliminary final last Saturday. Both teams fought hard throughout their games but unfortunately, neither team was able to secure a win.

Our Under 11s lost to Moffat Beach but all players have had a terrific season and should be proud of themselves for making it to 3rd place overall. A huge thank you goes to Nicole and the player's families for all the time and commitment that they have shown this season.

Our PLC Mavericks played a very tough game, the teams were tied up for the entire game leading to 10mins of overtime. Unfortunately, at the last minute, the other team scored a goal, and our girls did not have enough time to fight back. With other teams watching on during overtime the girls made our club proud. Another huge thank you goes to Joey and all the people associated with this team; you have all had an amazing season! Well done girls!

Fortunately, we get one more week of netball because our PLC Fireballs are in the Grand Final! These girls have worked hard this season playing every game with a lot of intensity which showed on the scoreboard.

Please come down and support our girls at 10.30am at the Caloundra Stadium (31 North Street, Caloundra). Make sure you are wearing blue, teal or white when cheering on the Fireballs! GOOOOOO PLC!
