Entries for the Telling Stories competition, run by Mooloolaba Rotary, are due by Monday 19^th August. Any students in Years 4-9 who are entering this competition, please get your entries in to your teacher before then.

In Library classes this week, Prep to Year 2 students explored one of the nominees for Book of the Year – ‘Rainbow Bear’ by Stephen Michael King. After reading this lovely story of a polar bear who mysteriously wakes up rainbow-coloured each morning, we made a rainbow bear by marbling paint through shaving cream and pressing our paper into it. Lots of messy, creative fun!
