Queensland Schools Water Polo State Championships

This week, Cosette Winter and Salvador Alfaro played for the Sunshine Coast Regional Water Polo teams at the Queensland Schools State Water Polo Championships in Rockhampton.

The Sunshine Coast girls team reached the semi-finals where they lost in a very close game to the eventual winners, Met East. In their 3/4 play-off, the game ended in another close finish and a final placing of fourth for the Sunshine Coast girls.

The Sunshine Coast boys reached the final but lost a close match in a finger-biting penalty shoot-out to Met East. The Sunshine Coast boys earned a silver medal.
