Bullying, No Way! Take Action Every Day

Three core values of the Pacific community are care, dignity and respect. To stand up for these values in social settings, both physical and online, takes courage and compassion. To stand with is a powerful demonstration of empathy and often requires even greater courage. It is important to make decisions about what we stand for rather than drift with a group. Having these personal core values of caring for others and respecting and preserving everyone’s personal dignity, creates a safe and empowering culture for everyone to live and grow within. This Friday we focus on the proactive things each of us can do as individuals as we participate in the National Day of Action Against Bullying and Violence. The theme for this year of ‘Bullying, No Way! Take Action Every Day’, encourages us all to take a strong, calm, personal stand to care for others and always act to preserve personal dignity and safety.
