Last week, Year 11 Hospitality students participated in a two-day intensive course at RACV Resort Noosa. Students were involved in all aspects of the day-to-day running of the hotel. Along with a RACV staff member, they completed daily jobs, supporting and assisting in concierge, housekeeping, maintenance and prepping in a very busy kitchen! In their down time, students were given a tour of the hotel’s facilities and were also able to enjoy some experiences as guests.

It was also interesting for students to see how the hotel has adapted to the changes relating to COVID-19 as they continue to maintain the health and safety of all guests.

Overall, it was a very positive experience and an important learning opportunity for our senior Hospitality students. We commend each student on the way they represented themselves and the College.
