End of Year Presentations
Being the last full round at Pacific, we hosted the EOY presentations for all our teams.
Congratulations to our Club Captain, Marley, on 13 years of service with the club. Throughout the years, we have loved watching Marley play with his technical brilliance and natural game flow.
Congratulations also to our U11 Pacific Marlins who won the Perpetual Trophy for club service and the Laserzone party. Doug and Amanda have guided the team throughout the season while most Marlin parents have supported the canteen on multiple occasions. Awesome work Marlins!

Match Reports
U6 Mantarays - Netflix gave you “The Last Dance” (Michael Jordan doco) and PLC has now given you “The First Dance” with the U6 Mantarays season concluding as it started - in absolute glory. It’s any wonder that all the big media outlets were on hand to witness generational talent just one last time this year. The crowd, well-wishers and media were once again blown away. The final game of the year saw increased physicality, a willingness to challenge for the ball and some exquisite passing. Coach John commented “… pride is the word that comes to mind. I’m proud of each player to don the aqua stripe and take the field.” Confidence shone through this week with the Mantarays players backing themselves and putting all their training into action. Stop-go, reverse, pass-shoot. A truly dazzling performance. ~Manager Mike

U7 Snappers - What. A. Team. It was cold, it was wet, but the team spirit was not dampened. Man of the match went to our rockstar goalie and jack of all trades - Elliott C. Shout out to Xavier B, Liam, Nate B, and Benjamin for awesome attack work and goal scoring, and to our fearless midfielders Lucas and Nicolas, and our defenders, Hugo and Hugh. Snappers win 9 to 1.  Snap, snap, snappers!! ~Manager Sian

U7 Stingrays! The finale for the U7 Stingrays! Teamwork helped us have another win today against Unity. The Stingrays worked hard all game. They have been well led all year by our coach who has taught them well.  It has been great seeing them work so well as a team.  Thank you for the presentation after the game.  They were thrilled with their trophies and we are all so grateful to the hardworking committee as without them we wouldn’t have any football to play.  Super job! ~Manager Kirsty

U9 Sharks – The team had a tough season finale, but Noah Y put the one and only goal into the net with some incredible persistence and footwork! Noah M and Luke did a great job in goals and Noah M scored another sausage award from the opposing team thanks to his footwork and persistence. Angus picked up a player of the match award and Coach Peter declared Jason player of the season for his relentless defending and attacking every weekend! Great gains were made with teamwork by all the midfielders! We’re so proud of how the team has developed, respecting each other’s strengths and challenging themselves in new positions. A huge thank you to all of the parents for showing up each week and trusting Peter and I to guide and mentor the Sharks! And for the gift voucher, wine and flowers - feeling very spoiled! Well done all and thanks PLC FC for the continued support and all your super energy, especially Jenny, Rita and Lisa - you’re all superstars! ~Manager Katie

U9 Seahorses – The Seahorses ended the season on a high with a 2 x 2 draw against Nambour Black Leopards. Impressive skills on field, with awesome shots at goal, relentless defending, and fierce fighting to the end. Sophia was unstoppable, earning a well-deserved player of the match. Coach Greg has done an awesome job with the whole team throughout the season. His dedication and hard work are second to none. We are very grateful for his leadership. Thanks coach Greg, the Seahorses and Pacific FC for an awesome and entertaining season. Watch out Matildas!!! ~Manager Gaby

U11 Marlins – The team lost a hard fought 3-1 contest against Caloundra Black in their final match of the season. Great effort and some excellent plays, but unfortunately didn't quite convert several opportunities into points. The team showed that they have improved all season and have a strong foundation to build on. Thanks Amanda and a very supportive parent group, the team took away the Perpetual "club service" trophy for the season. ~Coach Doug

Under 14 Barracudas – The team hosted Unity and the Barracudas flew out of the gates to lead 3-0 within 20 minutes of start time and it remained 3-0 at half time. A much closer game in the second half as Unity warmed up to the task.  A late goal to Barracudas rounded off a 4-0 victory. A great team effort. Next stop semi-finals! ~Coach Sheldon

U15/16 Eels – The Eels took on Currimundi and ended with a fabulous 7-4 win. It was an exciting game to watch with plenty of equalising moments before the Eels took charged and wrapped it up. Well done.
